Family ties

I just got back from visiting my family.  What a great time I had. There is just nothing that compares to the love and support of your family. They are all in-tune with whats going on with me. I try not to talk about it much but will answer any questions for them as I have been trying to be myself and not my disease. Sometimes it is a fine line , but that is how you should live your life. Don't live the disease, live your life .
My biggest fear is getting pneumonia, as any of us know that can kill us faster than any other infection . The fact that I smoke doesn't help either! The congestion starts and you need to carefully keep tabs on it because that illness is fast and furious. Here are  a few tips to go by: wheezing when you breathe, temperature, shortness of breath.........these all can be warning signs.  If you think you might have any of them, please call your Doctor immediately! Better safe than sorry .
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving.  Enjoy the love of family and friends. Give thanks for your good health! Blessed be!
