Here is one day to acknowledge that this disease is still here and going strong .All the lives lost. Fear can lead to stupidity get tested , get knowledge. Knowledge is power , and at 40+ million people infected we are all affected by this disease , and it doesn't discriminate . Be safe!! Love out.

I find it hard to believe that Family Doctors don't just do routine HIV testing while running routine blood work. The cost of an HIV test is so low....what is it around $40 or even less? It's covered by Insurance and if you don't have Insurance there are plenty of HIV clinics to help cover the cost. Not to mention that now a days, you can even get tested by in your home with a home kit bought over the net.
In this day in age how could it possibly hurt?
If everyone who has HIV knew that they had it, it could only help to control the virus.
But like Hep C....there are so many people in the world who have no idea. That ignorance is what causes these viruses to spread so terribly out of control.
